How Credit Repair Works
A transparent, step-by-step process built on your rights under the FCRA, FDCPA, and CROA — with real education and realistic guidance, never exaggerated promises.
A Clear, Lawful Process
Seven simple steps — from your first free consultation to ongoing monthly progress.
Free consultation
We start with a free, no-obligation conversation to understand your goals and review your situation. There are no upfront fees — as required by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
Report review (3 bureaus)
Together we review your Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion reports so you can see your full credit picture explained in plain language.
Identify possible errors
We look for information that may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unverifiable — the items you have the right to dispute under the FCRA.
Prepare disputes
We help you organize specific, well-documented disputes to the bureaus and, when appropriate, the furnishers — guided by the FCRA (§609, §611, §623) and FDCPA (§809).
Follow-up & investigation
The credit bureaus investigate most disputes, generally within 30 days under the FCRA. We track the responses and follow up as new information becomes available.
Education & recommendations
We explain the results and share practical, realistic recommendations — such as on-time payments and lower utilization — to support long-term progress.
Monthly progress & monitoring
We review your progress each month and adjust the plan as needed. Results vary by individual credit profile, and accurate, current information cannot be removed.
Credit repair is a process, not a promise. Under federal law, no company can guarantee a specific score or the removal of accurate, current, and verifiable information. You also have the right to dispute items yourself, directly with the bureaus, at no cost. Our role is to save you time, keep your disputes organized and lawful, and help you truly understand your credit.
Credit repair results are not guaranteed. Accurate and current negative information cannot legally be removed. Ez Progress Group provides educational support and guidance to help clients better understand and improve their credit situation.
